Committing to a longer term contract with your electric and gas supply at your commercial premises is a gamble. The price might be the best on the market, but from experience we have been with SSE now for a number of years, and they are consistently costing my team 5-10 hours of work per month reacting to their internal system problems.  We will be sent bills from years ago, debt collection letters and processes and people constantly calling to try and resolve issues that are simply made up. 

For the record. All our bills are paid on time and without any friction on our part.  

As I write this, I have seen an external meter reading company representative coming to our site for his bi-weekly visit, as the 'Smart' meter was seemingly not transmitting the right data.  This has been going on for over 12 months. I can't help but feel we are paying this poor chap's wage.

Not once has anyone discussed fitting a meter that would seemingly stop an issue that we have no control over.
