Is working remotely here to stay?

The remote work revolution has been one of the most dramatic workplace shifts of our lifetime—and it’s fair to ask: was it a temporary fix, or is it our new normal?

Once seen as a perk reserved for a few techies or freelancers, remote work gained widespread popularity during the pandemic. However, even as offices reopened, many companies continued to operate under hybrid or fully remote models. Why? Because flexibility works—for productivity, cost-saving, and talent retention.

The research seemingly speaks volumes...

  • A growing number of businesses report higher output from remote employees.
  • Global talent pools are more accessible, changing hiring strategy forever.
  • Office leasing and overhead costs are being reevaluated, with many downsizing.

What do your employees want?
The desire for a better work-life balance isn’t going anywhere. For many, commuting feels like a relic of another age. And flexibility isn’t just a preference—it’s becoming an expectation. Is that right?

Technology is evolving.
Tools like Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and cloud-based CRMs have made collaboration seamless. With AI now assisting in communication, scheduling, and even task automation, distance is becoming increasingly irrelevant.

Over 70% of our client base is offshore from the UK, and we are seeing a lot of client contacts working remotely also. It looks like the trend is only set to cement further.

Our workforce has a 95% need to work in our warehouses and on-site as the workflow demands it; this won't change unless robots take over. But admin functions are certainly a lot more fluid and flexible.
