With so many offerings, you have a huge choice for e-commerce platforms that each have their foibles. But Shopify is now one of the biggest in the world for a reason. Its simple User Interface (UI), clean looks and ability to scale as you need seemingly give you a good foundation to get it right the first time.
We run a 3PL fulfilment warehouse and over 70% of our clients use Shopify as their chosen platform. It is very easy for us to integrate into pull down those orders and our clients all have positive feedback when quizzed about it.
However there are costs associated with setup and ongoing trading. Is it worth establishing a free cart like Woocommerce on a WordPress site before taking the plunge? Or does this only hamper progress?
